03 — Process
01
30 min
Paint depth is measured on every panel. Existing chips, previous repaints and panel gaps are photographed before any work starts.
02
2 hrs
Two-bucket wash, iron fallout and tar removal, then a panel-wipe of the surfaces that will receive film. Checkpoint: the paint passes a plastic-bag test.
03
4 hrs
Swirl marks and light defects are polished out under 5000K inspection lamps. Film locks in whatever finish sits beneath it, so this stage is never skipped.
04
8 hrs
Plotted to the panel, applied wet, then squeegeed and re-lifted within 20 minutes if a trapped speck shows. Edges are wrapped wherever the panel allows.
05
72 hrs
The car stays indoors at 22 °C. No wash and no pressure washer along the seams for 7 days.
06
1 hr
Covered panels are re-measured by gauge and logged at 8 mil or 10 mil, then you receive the warranty card, care sheet and panel map. Warranty terms and conditions apply.
